KL Polish Ethereal Garden Collection Spring 2018

Swatch and Review

**PRESS SAMPLES**

Spring has sprung and KL Polish has recently launched their newest collection for Spring 2018, the Ethereal Garden collection! Today I'll be sharing swatches and my review for this 6 piece set - I can't wait to share the swatches!

In other exciting news regarding KL Polish, I've recently become a Brand Ambassador for them - it almost doesn't feel real, but it truly is! Near the end of this post, I will share my affiliate coupon code that will provide you with a 10% savings on all your future purchases.

I'd also love to hear your thoughts of this collection down in the comments section and let me know if you have any favourites!

Let's get onto the swatches shall we?

KL Polish - Charmed

Charmed is a purple/blue coloured nail polish with a blue duo chrome flip.

My swatch shows Charmed applied in 3 thin coats, sealed with top coat. In comparison to all formulas in this collection, Charmed has the thinnest formula. I wouldn't say it's a runny or watery formula, just a bit thinner in consistency versus the rest. Due to the duo chrome nature of this polish, I advise using thin long brush strokes to avoid visible brush stroke lines. Given each coat is applied thin, the brush stroke lines won't be as visible. I had no issues with application or the formula. This colour is aboslutely stunning and just adore the blue shift in colour - it really pops. This colour is giving me some serious mermaid vibes and definitely something I'll be reaching for again and again!

KL Polish Dream Boy Ethereal Garden Collection Spring 2018 Swatch and Review Nail Experiments

KL Polish - Dream Boy

Dream Boy is a purple pastel creme polish.

My swatch of Dream Boy is shown in 2 easy creamy coats, paired with top coat. The formula of Dream Boy was great to work with and had no issues - I love me a good 2 coater creme polish!

KL Polish Miss Kensington Ethereal Garden Collection Spring 2018 Swatch and Review Nail Experiments

KL Polish - Miss Kensington

Miss Kensington is a pastel mint green, with a hint of aqua creme nail polish.

My swatch of Miss Kensington is shown in 2 easy creamy coats, paired with top coat. Another great easy formula to use, super creamy and a creme lovers dream come true! I have a thing for mint greens and this one is definitely a keeper.

KL Polish Selene Ethereal Garden Collection Spring 2018 Swatch and Review Nail Experiments

KL Polish - Selene

Selene is the perfect muted yellow nail polish, with a hint of silver micro glitters for a hint of glam!

My swatch of Selene is shown in 2 easy coats, paired with top coat. The added silver micro glitters aren't as visible on the nail as they are within the bottle, and would classify the micro glitters as a very subtle accent. I had a bit of a tough time capturing the true essence of this polish, grrr! In person it has the slightest of an orange undertone that wouldn't show up within my photo's. Over the last little while,  I've really grown to love wearing yellow nail polish. I've always loved the colour yellow, as it's super bright and cheerful but I wasn't able to find the right yellow nail polish shades to compliment my skin tone. This is one of those yellows that I will proudly wear that looks different and gorgeously unique. I still till this day would love to get my hands on Caramello - it's such a lovely mustard/pumpkin shade!

KL Polish Pinky Ethereal Garden Collection Spring 2018 Swatch and Review Nail Experiments

KL Polish - Pinky

Pinky is a peachy pink sheer nail polish that's perfect for everyday wear!

My swatch of Pinky is shown in 3 coats, paired with top coat. I love that they've included a sheer pinky/nude polish like this as it's classy and great for the office! I noticed even with 3 coats, I still had slight nail line showing through, but I didn't mind. What I love about this sheer polish is it applied evenly. Some sheer polishes apply quite streaky and I think it has a lot to do with the KL Polish brush applicator. Their brushes make for the perfect application! I will share a photo of the brush at the end - stay tuned + I also had a 10% savings code to share with you incase I've tempted you to pick up some of these polishes thus far hehe

KL Polish Gum Would Be Perfection Ethereal Garden Collection Spring 2018 Swatch and Review Nail Experiments

KL Polish - Gum Would Be Perfection

Gum Would Be Perfection is a classic bubblegum pink creme nail polish.

My swatch of Gum Would Be Perfection is shown in 2 easy coats, paired with top coat. This was another one I had a teensy bit of troubles when trying to capture the true colour accuracy - my camera  was freaking out a little. Same way I freaked out when I saw this beauty in real life, I didn't know what to do with myself lol! I'm a sucker for bright pastel pinks like this, literally my absolute favourite colour to wear!

Brush shot: I personally prefer brushes with a rounded applicator as it helps to hug the cuticle line perfectly. I will say if you have a narrow nail bed, this brush may be a bit wide for you. This fit perfectly with my nail bed size and felt the brush truly did most of the work!

Notes: All polishes, minus Charm (satin matte) dried down to a shiny finish. I did pair the swatches with top coat but if you were in a rush, you truly wouldn't need to.
